Aryaman Murdeshwar

Aryaman is an undergraduate student at University of Illinois from Mumbai, India. He is studying to receive a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry. Aryaman joined Dr. Chu-Young Kim’s lab in Fall 2023, where his research focuses on investigating the mechanisms of Ecm16, a UvrA homolog found in streptomycin that conjugates echinomycin resistance. Aryaman is also a member of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is an Illinois Ambassador of Undergraduate Research. He spends most of his free time watching TV shows, especially reality TV, and playing video games with his friends.
